About Dr. Chung

As part of the staff at Prince William Urology Associates in Manassas and Haymarket, Virginia, Andrew Chung, MD, provides the highest-quality medical and surgical treatments to help solve urologic problems.

After graduating summa cum laude from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, in 1991, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, Dr. Chung continued his studies and earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1995.

Dr. Chung performed his urologic residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Detroit before being stationed at Joint Base Andrews for three years. During this time, Dr. Chung had privileges at both Walter Reed Army Medical Center and National Naval Medical Center and was actively involved in the Department of Defense prostate cancer database.

He joined the staff at Prince William Medical Center and became an active member of the hospital’s cancer committee in 2004. Dr. Chung also holds affiliations with both Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital.

In addition to being certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Chung has published work in multiple medical journals, including The Journal of Urology and Journal of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Chung prefers treating prostate cancer, stress and urge incontinence, and stone disease through the use of endourology, as well as laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery.
